Our client, the owner of the modern chinese restaurant called Hop Alley, came to us with the proposal to expand his current restaurant to meet the demands that his restaurant provides to the City of Denver. Tasked to make the new space relate to the original but with a new flair allowed us to take inspiration from the wooden plank elements, red paper lanterns, and dark tile accents of the original and incorporate these in the new space. As lead project manager, project architect, and designer, I brought this project from the conceptual phases through construction administration. This 3,000 square foot restaurant will be complete and open for business in Spring 2023.
